Thanks!

photo365 – Day 365

Well, I managed to pull it off – posting at least one picture a day for an entire year. There were a few bumps along the way, duplicated images, mislabed days, Lightroom’s absence of a spell checker ). Through it all I’ve had the support and editorial help of the best life partner a fella could have. I could not let the project wind down without posting one of my favorite pictures of us.

Also, many thanks to my friends and ‘followers’. I greatly appreciate your interest and comments along the way. Many of you have asked that I continue the project into the new year. I’m going to downshift a bit and put something up at least once a week. Frankly, I don’t have enough decent shots left in the catalog to put up 365 more. 😉

I’ll be posting all the images from the project into a Facebook album if you care to review them. Of course, they also exist on my Flickr account as an album as well (link below).

Thanks and Happy 2015!

photo365 – Day 364

As the year, and this project, comes to a close, I thought it appropriate to post my most popular image so far. This shot of a fox was taken in my yard one winter’s day. This little cutie was jogging through the yard and just sat down for a quick break.

This image, and a few others from the group, got a bit of traction on Flickr and Tumber. I have over 20,000 views of this image alone on Flickr alone. The entire set of images has over 150,000 views combined. You can see the entire set here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/streamingmeemee/sets/72157626033364128

Guitar Tower – Experience Music Project, Seattle WA

photo365 – Day 362

This sculpture is the centerpiece of this ‘museum’. It is easily 30 feet tall and more than 10 feet in diameter. It is covered by all mannter of instruments, mostly guitars, but you’ll also see drums, banjos and other noise makers represented.
