I so do love our Nakamichi SoundSpace 3<\/a> alarm clock.  It has FAN-DAMN-TASTIC sound (subwoofer bhaybee!) sleek, classy design and what was most important to us, two displays.  We can each control the alarm (of which it has two) and check how late for work we are without rolling up on one elbow to see over the other person to the clock on the far nightstand.  Sweet.<\/p>\n

I sloghed through several eBay auctions (it has been out of production for a few years) before finally getting my hands on one.  Imagine my disappointment when it arrived DOA.  Undetered, I grabbed a few tools and cracked the sucka open.  One of the cable connectors had come loose in transit.  Simple.  JOY!<\/p>\n

This little beastie may have me rethinking my choice.<\/p>\n

Despite the name (are they trying to attract sharks or customers?), this little gem is packed with geeky-goodness.  This thing isn’t even publicly available yet but it already has quite a few case mods and Flash based ‘widgets’.<\/p>\n
