{"id":131,"date":"2006-10-25T16:35:14","date_gmt":"2006-10-25T21:35:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.streamingmeemee.com\/index.php\/2006\/10\/25\/streamingmeemee-international-man-of-mystery\/"},"modified":"2008-12-14T11:38:42","modified_gmt":"2008-12-14T16:38:42","slug":"streamingmeemee-international-man-of-mystery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.streamingmeemee.com\/index.php\/2006\/10\/25\/streamingmeemee-international-man-of-mystery\/","title":{"rendered":"StreamingMeeMee, International Man of Mystery"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the nice things about being pseud-anonymous is that I can talk about real-life events without much chance of a stalker showing up at my door.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m preparing for a vacation trip to India.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image130\" alt=\"Taj Mahal\" src=\"http:\/\/www.streamingmeemee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/10\/lt_taj_mahal_200x153.thumbnail.jpg\" class=\"align-left frame\" \/>We have joined a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wgbh.org\/support\/member_benefits\/learningtour_india_2006\" target=\"_blank\">tour <\/a>sponsored by WGBH that will take us across the northern areas of the sub-continent and include visits to the Taj Mahal, a tiger preserve, ancient cities, grand temples and more. I am very excited; India has been on my list of places to visit before I die for a long time and the opportunity made it very easy. India is the type of place that I would not consider going on my own so a tour was a perfect choice.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve already stocked up on memory cards for my digital camera and will be bringing along a laptop as a backup mechanism. I hope to be able to post along the way via Internet cafes or hotel broadband connections. I&#8217;ll also be posting highlight pics to my <a href=\"http:\/\/flickr.com\/photos\/streamingmeemee\/\" target=\"_blank\">Flickr photostream<\/a> so that the folks at home can follow along.<\/p>\n<p>So get comfy, pass the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Naan\" target=\"_blank\">naan <\/a>and prepare to share a trip of a lifetime!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the nice things about being pseud-anonymous is that I can talk about real-life events without much chance of a stalker showing up at my door.
