What a relief man. DO you have a fireplace?

Yes, but our wood was covered with ice so it didn’t burn very well. The house retained heat pretty well but it did make it down to 47F inside the house before the power was restored. The temp. here overnight was down in the low teens so another night with no heat was not a welcome thought.
Happily my tropical fish (the ones that like water temps in the high 70s) survived! That was a happy surprise.
We lost only a few large tree limbs and a few shrub branches. No damage to the house (or us). Overall we were pretty lucky.
