Another in the ‘the best camera is the one you have’ category. This was shot with my phonecam. The metal structure is an elevator shaft for a parking garage.
I almost didn’t post anything from this show. No ‘pro cameras’ allowed, an artist who wore a baseball cap and sunglass for the ENTIRE SHOW, ‘dramatic’ lighting and a failed PC upgrade have left me with this less-than awesome shot. They can’t all be award winners.
Wow! — I was saying that a lot last night during the Delta Rae show. With powerful vocals, highly energetic stage presence, and engaging and soulful music these talented folks left a lasting impression. I went from ‘never heard of you’ to ‘big fan’ in span of two tracks!
Shot this last night at the opening show of the 2014 Lowell Summer Music Series. Apologies for the low quality image but ‘Pro Cameras’ were forbidden during the show so I had to fall back to my trusty Canon SX 230 HS ‘point & shoot’. I was a fair distance away from the stage; I’m surprised that I got anything usable at all.
This is my grandfather. He was a cop in Springfield, MA. I’m guessing on the date based on his apparent age. I didn’t crop as tightly as I normally would so as to include the surrounding neighborhood for context. This was scanned from a 2×3 in. photo.
Not sure where in Spain I was when I shot this. It’s a shame it’s missing that tiny ‘knob’ just to the right of the knocker – it really ruins the balance. 😉
