Wow, did he say what I thought he just said?

Yes, I know I just posted an entry pointing you towards Mark Cuban’s blog but I’m still catching up on my reading.

I had to read this one twice to be sure I got it right.

My advice? Any and all digital content that you purchase and OWN, with any
sort of copy protection, crack it, and make a backup copy for your own personal
storage.

Wow.  This coming from a man who runs a satellte TV network and a theatre chain.  Ok, it’s official; Mark Cuban for President!

I am what I am and that’s all that I am…

Ok, so it’s been awhile since I posted — my bad.  I’ve been a bit tied up with my new full time gig and a few ‘garage projects’; all of which have seriously cut into my blogging time.  Gee, it’s amazing how much blogging one can do when one is unemployed. 😉

I read Mark Cuban’s blog on a regular basis.  I certainly don’t read it for that sports team he seems to own, but for his insights into digital media, HD and digital theatres specifically.  Ocassionaly he’ll post something of a general nature that catches my attention.  His recent post “Don’t Lie to Yourself” struck pretty close to home for me.  While I’m certainly not the salesman he is, I am certainly his equal in procastination.

I’m not in any position to get myself a personal assistant to manage the details of my life.  However, I am in a position to gather people around me who compliment my abilities. (read: cancel out my bad habits)  It may seem obvious when reading it in the context of others, but brutually difficult to do within one’s own life.  The fundamental part is recognizing those things at which you suck.  A daunting task for most mortals to be sure.

The Roadhouse Blues Podcast ROCKS!

I’ve not only jumped onto the podcast bandwagon, I let them park it in my yard!  There is just so much great stuff floating around out there I sometimes wish my commute was longer so that I could listen to more of them!

It’s no secret to those that know me that I’m a huge blues fan, so much that I started my own ‘radio station’ way back in the dark ages of the ‘net (1998).  Dreamland Blues has faded a bit from it’s former glory as a Top 10 station on Live365 but I still manage to attract a few listeners.

But I digress..

The point of this post is to draw your attention to a fan-damn-tastic podcast, The Roadhouse.  The host, Tony Steidler-Dennison, has an uncanny knack to pick songs that I just love!  I’ve listened to several of his ‘casts and I have yet to find a track that I didn’t seriously dig.   His profesionally level production quality along with his knowlege of Blues and Blues history make this one of my favorite podcasts.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
