Another image from our 2006 WGBH Learning Tour to India. The site we were visiting was undergoing restoration and these donkeys were being used to transport materials through the ancient site.
It was a very moving experience to participate in the March For Our Lives rally in Boston. I’ll be posting a few of my favorite images from this rally in the Photo100 series this year.
I captured this image of a hard working woman at O’Duffy’s Pub in Kalamazoo, MI a few years back. We were celebrating St. Patrick’s day with a few hundred of our closest Irish-for-the-day friends!
Remember to tip generously your wait staff and bartenders — they are working while you are celebrating!
They are renovating an old mill building near my office. The most recent use was for a book printing company. When they shutdown a few years ago they simply abandond several LARGE printing press lines. These things are as long as a house and weight many tons. They were being broken up as scrap. Very sad really.
