Aaron Norcross, Jr. – Back Page Cafe, Lowell MA

2018 photo100 – #71

This one was captured in the now closed Back Page Cafe in Lowell in Feb. 2017. This one is a bit ‘grainier’ than I’d normally post but I like the angle and Aaron’s expression.

Facing the past

2018 photo100 – #26

Facing The Past

In my youth my family travelled a fair bit; by my late teens I had visited ~45 of the lower 48. Most of that travelling was done in a 3 seat station wagon; the third seat facing backwards in the rear of the car. We all took turns in the ‘way back seat’. Frankly it was my favorite spot as I was able to read or just watch the World fade away behind us.

I’m not sure where this shot was made; it could be anywhere from W. Virginia to Washington.

Two miles to Mile Run

2018 photo100 – #18

This image is from a significantly degraded negative from the mid 70’s. I like it for several reasons; the dreamlike quality of the grainy image, the quizzical notion of it being 2 miles to ‘Mile Run’, the mystery of where this place is in the World…

Anyone know where this may be?
