2018 Lowell Pride Parade

2018 photo100 – #31

I attended my first Pride Parade today. Lowell is a modestly sized former mill town so I expected a modest parade. Well, I was quite impressed with the number of folks participating!

For me, this person was the hands-down winner! Kudos!

2018 CatWalk for CancerCare

2018 photo100 – #27

Another image from the 2018 Lowell General Hospital CatWalk for Cancecare event. The young woman in this image was watching the show’s opening series of cancer survivor documentaries. My partner, Lori, is a member of the organizing committee and she also modeled several outfits in this year’s show. Stay tuned for more images from this fantastic event.

Facing the past

Facing The Past

In my youth my family travelled a fair bit; by my late teens I had visited ~45 of the lower 48. Most of that travelling was done in a 3 seat station wagon; the third seat facing backwards in the rear of the car. We all took turns in the ‘way back seat’. Frankly it was my favorite spot as I was able to read or just watch the World fade away behind us.

I’m not sure where this shot was made; it could be anywhere from W. Virginia to Washington.
