Thanks for the help / Status Update / Demo Feed

Thanks!

Just a quick post to recognize RobF’s help sorting out some issues; with his help FrameAlbum now supports Toshiba frames!  Rob, Thanks for your time and your patience.

Status Update:

I’m putting the finishing touches on the channel programming and selection routines today.  I will be releasing some of the beta registrations tonight — watch your email.

If you haven’t done so already, you can register now for the FrameAlbum beta at www.framealbum.com.

Demo Feed:

For those of you that have asked, the demo feed is from my Flickr photostream.  Yes, I do shoot a fair bit of live music. 😉

  1. Yes, to both.

Can you tell me if the DSM-210 frames support a custom photo RSS feed? (Other than through FrameChannel)

If so, they will be supported at launch via the custom RSS feed.

  2. D-Link DSM-210: after setting up access to the home wireless network, you have a choice to “add new online account” . In the old days, you punched in your frame serial number, and framechannel.com would associate it with an email id and password, and then boom- you could add feeds like picasa, inside framechannel, Now, when selected, there’s a message that comes up, “framechannel service is discontinued”… with no other choice other than “back”…. Looks like it’s all thru framechannel.com.

Hope that helps. 500 bucks of paperweights and family members in various countries eagerly awaiting your patched-together workaround! Thanks!
